Easy Chocolate Mousse

This Chocolate Mousse is creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet that we’re willing to call it the only dessert you need to master for life.

Serves 4


Garnish options:
Grated chocolate or crunchy toppings, such as chopped nuts, toffee, or brittle

  1. Melt 1 cup of vegan chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 second segments until the chocolate is melted or over a stove top which involves placing a heavy sturdy bowl (often glass) over a pot of simmering water on the stovetop. The heat from the simmering water will help melt the chocolate. Set aside to cool while you whip cream. (but not too long that it solidifies).
  2. Place 300ml of LOCO thickened creamy cold in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric hand mixer or with a whisk by hand until soft peaks form. Transfer 1/2 cup to a small bowl and refrigerate for topping the finished mousse before serving. Continue whipping the remaining whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Quickly pour the chocolate into the whipped mixture and immediately blend/mix. Work swiftly and gently and don’t stress if there are streaks of cream in the chocolate mousse.
  4. Divide the mixture between 4 ramekins or cocktail glasses. Refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours before serving. Dollop with the reserved softly whipped LOCO thickened creamy and sprinkle with grated chocolate or chopped hazelnuts, if desired.
